Re: Deceptively Delicous

I gave my book away.I made the chicken cigars and to thisday my DD says that is her least favorate meal in the WORLD!! I made some others too and was disapointed. None of the meals are really low fat. Which, veggies are cool and everything but fat isn't. So, I dont really care for the book.

I have used Earth's Best Baby Food to replace the purees when I'm to lazy to get out the steamer/blender. It works great.

I just got the sneaky chef cookbook. It is a similar Idea but doesn't have as many fried items. I was looking at Deceptively Delicious and want to try the sweetpotatoe pancakes because it is an Egg free meal, but that was the only one that caught my eye.

The cookies with chickpeas sound so gross, but taste great! I love getting people to try them and watch their faces when I tell them what's in it.

I scored this today at Big Lots for three bucks! I am the worst at putting recipes together so I figured it wouldn't be a total loss!

I've heard of both of these books. I've also seen one of them at Walmart. I can't remember which one. I might have to see if our library has a copy or buy one. They sound interesting.

It's actually one of the $5 books at Kohls currently. I picked it up last week... but have not tried it yet. Need to plan next week's meals before heading to the Farmer's Market tomorrow AM.
