I just now read your story but I had to post. I am soooo glad that Rebel has healed up so beautifully. Thank God that you guys were right there...it is just a horribly sad situation all around. (((hugs)))

I am glad to hear Rebel is doing well and recovering. It is very hard when you have to give up your pet who has been a part of your family and I am sorry for your loss there, even though it is completely understood.

When my son was two, we had a very beloved dog. One night, he "snapped" at my son and we instantly found him a new home. I was always very sad because he really was a good dog and we all loved him so much. Your story has given me comfort that even though another incident may never have occured, we did the right thing because something more serious may have occurred. Sorry to turn this into sharing my story, I just wanted to thank you for sharing your story, so others may learn from your experience.

I will pray for your son to continue healing.
