I just got done making a triple batch of strawberry freezer jam. I ended up with 20 half pints. I was wondering how much I need to make for a year. After having homemade I NEVER want to go back to store bought. It is sooooo yummy. We have already gone through 2 but I think that is because it is new and exciting. So do you think we have enough or do you think I should make another batch or 3?

I always make approx. 5-6 batches per year. I average about 7 cups of jam per batch. I don't make freezerjam. I am not how long it keeps for

Anyways, I make strawberry, raspberry and blackberry! All local berries. If I pick a friend's cherry tree I will usually make a batch of cherry and if I go blueberry picking I will make a batch of that too!
