I need a couple cookie recipes

I would like tried and true yummy recipes please! I need a peanut butter and an oatmeal. Would be even more special if they were kinda healthy too

I use the pb recipe out of the better homes and gardens cook book and the oatmeal recipe off of the quaker oatmeal container. I don't have time to post them right now but I bet you could find the quaker one online. I'll check back if you can't find them.

Thanks. I should have mentioned this but I'm not fond of the Quaker oatmeal cookies. I'm going to check the BHG website for the BP ones.

This recipe is delicious for oatmeal cookies. I love them, heck I am going to make them now...thanks!

YOu can substitute applesauce for oil.

my fav choco chip recipie

1 cup butter softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar

cream these ingredients together. then add

2 eggs
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp of vanilla

beat until combined well. then add

3 cups of flour slowly until fully mixed and then add your choice of chips. chocolate, butterscotch, white chocolate or a mix of all. i usually add the equivalent of 1 1/2 bags of chips total. spoon onto cookie sheet and bake @ 375 till barely golden brown. makes 4 dozen cookies.
