Ashley, I am so sorry and at one point in my life I could SOOO relate. I still have bad anxiety/panic attacks but seeing a therapist has helped TONS. I was also on meds for a while.. SOOOO helpful. I hope you made an appointment for sooner.

I agree-- therapy can be sooo helpful. Sometimes it takes a while to find one that you click with, but once you do it is great!

I have quite a bit of BBR and I have to say I don't really like it very much.. Am I the only one?? LOL

Congrats!

I love BBR I love how it takes dye and knits up. 2ply knits up a little differnet then 3 ply. The STIH I have is 3ply and it's not silky soft like BFL but its squishy soft and sticks to my needles so I can frog it and not have it slip off my needles like the other yarns do.

It's actually a tester pattern.

Is there anyone who could dye a colorway using those 3 colors for me. I could mail a sample of all 3 yarns. I'm totally loving doing girlie colors. I need a little girl to make things for.
That's so cute! I loooove pink and orange together.

But I did want to finish some recently finished WIPs.

Debutante Yarns' "Watercolors" - a kaia babydoll.

Micsknitz "In H'Ewe Cranberry" - cabled capris. I love the ruffle on this one!

Sending much love and to you gals... I miss seeing everyone's lovely stuff... I just can't properly appreciate it when I'm speeding through the thread!
Gorgeous!!

Yep, it'll pill some since it's pretty soft but not too bad. I made DD's Easter top with Swish DK and I've used Swish Worsted for socks for DH and they're holding up pretty good.

I see my kids being afraid of me, and not knowing what I'm going to do or say, and it makes me want to
I take Zoloft and last year I saw a therapist to help work out some "trigger" issues and also to give me some coping tools with the things that stress me out.
Oh yes 100%.

I wonder if something like Zoloft would help me... what kind of doc would I need to see about that?

I love BBR too! It's like magic yarn, it just keeps coming and coming and coming... I think it's my favorite base. I love both 2 and 3ply, the 2ply being more like Cestari Fine or MMW. If I ever have a choice in coops to get that I almost always do!

I meant to mention earlier, I just made a big order at BBR for 5 skeins of yarn that I'm dyeing up for a friend. I had made a MONSTER boo boo last week and ordered 5 skeins of their BULKY yarn. Which, omg, is so squishy and I'd love to play with it, but not what I needed for this project. So now I need to decide if I'm going to keep the bulky, send it back or sell it on spots or whatever.

Oh and I used my paypal debit card. I LOVE my debit card. I get something like 1.5% cash back when I use it? And I think I'm getting like $15 back this month.

to the mamas dealing with PPD.

I worry about it, because there is a history of depression in my family but I don't know if I would recognize it if I did have it..I'm so used to being overstressed and overtired that I think moodiness from that has become normal...

It might. My doctor says Zoloft is working right now, but it's not the treatment for bipolar disorder, so when I'm not nursing she wants to try something else. I'm cool with what works, I don't want to mess around with too much...
I see a psychiatrist who prescribes my Rx through Kaiser, but you could also see a general MD. I'd suggest a specialist though, (i.e. a psychiatrist) b/c he/she may be able to make a better diagnosis.

It runs in my family, too. But not just depression, Bipolar disorder. My dad had/has it and my brother (my brother has been "self-medicating" for quite a while now), neither of whom has really sought help for it.
I used to feel like how I was was just "normal" for me, but it's gotten so much worse that I just felt like I HAD to do something or I was going to have a nervous breakdown.

I have a gauge question. If the pattern says 4.5spi on size 7 needles, and I am getting 6spi, should I size up the needles or just do one size up on the pattern. It is for my STIH. Thanks!
