Anyone have any good organic food recipes?

Hey!
We're thinking about going completely organic! But I want to make sure we have enough variety of meals to keep things from getting "old".

What kind of meals do you guys cook that completely organic?

Well, if you have a great source for organic foodstuffs, then you can just cook routine meals. We have great groceries around here so I have never made different recipes. I just switched over all of our pantry and fridge to organic. The farmer's markets are great for REALLY FRESH produce and free range and organic meats and eggs. Welcome to some great tastes!

Thanks!! Do you think it's more expensive to eat organic?

I eat all organic and make regular meals, just with organic ingredients.
I've averaged that we spend 15% more on groceries going all organic. But, IMO it is definately worth it.

I think it's a little more expensive, but I really notice a difference in using more fresh veggies and stuff because our farmer's market is the BEST for organic produce! Also, there was a big article in the paper today re:major link between breast cancer and carcinogens. I just think that it is WELL worth it. . . especially for the LO's!

Depending on if you're up for it or not and if you have the space where you live, you can grow some organic produce at home. We're doing some container gardening and just the cucumbers are organic. The soil is organic and I haven't used anything to keep the bugs away yet. The tomatoes and peppers I bought as plants so I don't know if they were treated with anything. Right now we have them all in containers....too early for fruit yet but they are growing.

Here it is generally more expensive to buy organic and times we are on a tight budget we do tend to go for the cheaper stuff...that being said we also haven't taken a plunge or anything to go all organic...we just do it when we can.

Like everyone else said I use the same recipes just w/organic food. I am trying to grow my own organic produce now and I have even gotten chickens after I read the way they force them to lay eggs.
