2 Crock Pot Recipes I do fast!

Shredded bbq chicken: put 4-5 frozen chicken breasts in crock pot, cover in bbq sauce and western dressing...cook on high about 4 hours and shred! Put on a bun and yum! I serve with KFC coleslaw and baked beans.

Buy any kind of roast, rump, shoulder..whatever. Put it in a crockpot, pour a can of chunky soup over it and walla! Make the soup/broth into gravy for over mashed potatoes or something...I use my food processor, but my bff just mashes it with a potato masher for gravy. About 8 hours on low, or 4-5 hours on high depending on the size. I serve with mashed potatoes and green beans, and cresent rolls!

I've got TONS of quickie recipes. Looking for anything in particular? Vegetarian, beef, pork, cheap, few ingredients, crock pot, etc...?

Re: Need some easy and fast recipies...

Here's our fast favorite!

Mandarin Meat and Wild Rice

1/2 - 1lb of pork, steak, or chicken, cut into strips
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. canola oil
1 can (11 oz.) mandarin oranges
1-1/2 cups of water
1 tsp soy or worchestershire sauce
1 pkg. (6.2 oz) fast-cooking long grain and wild rice mix
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions

1. Sprinkle meat with pepper and salt. In a large skillet, brown meat in oil. Meanwhile, drain oranges, reserving juice; set oranges aside.
2. Add water, rice mix with contents of seasoning packet, onions, soy or worches, and reserved juice to skillet. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until meat is cooking through and liquid is absorbed. Stir in oranges and heat through.

^I got this recipe on DS somewhere! I love it because it's so versatile with the meat. I always keep the wild rice mix and oranges on hand, so I can throw it together whenever I need a quick meal.
