Re: WIC Recipes?

Yeah, I have about 6000 cans of tuna that I don't know when I'm going to use. I like tuna salad sandwiches, but won't eat tuna casserole. Too many bad childhood memories. I've gotten the salmon before and made salmon cakes, but for some reason it tasted like I'd imagine cat food would taste like, so I haven't ventured there since.

My DH makes an awesome hot tuna sammy in our sandwich maker. He does it just like tuna salad, but adds cheddar cheese and a bit of celery. So good this way!!

Re: WIC Recipes?

I use that peanut butter mousse recipe as the filling for my peanutbutter pie. Just put it in a graham cracker crust pieshell and put it in the fridge to set.

Use it in salad. Do lettuce with blanched green beans, boiled potatoes, hard boiled eggs, tuna, oil and vinegar dressing
