ITA with everyone....tell your pastor she needs to counsel him on being perverted! This is why women in Saudi and Iran are covered from head to toe...because men have impure thoughts when they see a womens ankle and the general idea there is not to correct the men (who are perverts) but to cover the women....no...not cool....tell her this is America...and if he has impure thoughts when seeing a woman BF then he needs therapy...unless of course you were flopping your boob all over the church

Next think you know they will be telling you not to wear pants or skirts that come above your ankle...oh that gets me so mad

You have every right to be upset. I think everyone has it hit SPOT ON... if he has a problem with you nursing in church, it is HIS problem. Not that you want to turn people away, but perhaps he should just stay home. Or look away? Or talk to the pastor about WHY he has those feelings, and get some help?

I dont thinnk its wrong but as church leaders I think you are held to a different "standard" than other people who attend. To be honist, I would do as she asked. Especially since your church is so new, you dont want to deture some people from comming because they are uncomfortable. I completely agree that it is THEIR problem and they should deal with it, but I think NIP and church is a hard situation to deal with. Sorry your having to deal with this.

I can understand & agree with those who say as a leader, I should just comply, BUT, I really feel like that will just make me angry & bitter. I will NOT be able to go to church & really "feel" it, if I have to get up & leave when Luke gets hungry or just start out in a different room all together. The whole point of GOING to a sanctuary is for the family worship atmosphere. I can watch or listen from home.

If that's truly the way it's going to be, I'd be more inclined to do that, & just skype it from home (in my undies, in bed, with my boy!!)
