Do I really have to boil the hemp/pockets to get rid of the stink?

I have been having stink issues with my hemp and pockets and have tried a variety of things:
oxyclean
borax
rinse/rinse/rinse
etc.
But the stink keeps coming back after a day or so. So should I boil my hemp? What do I do with my pockets and microfiber? I never had these problems with my son in prefolds, so I'm just not sure what the problem is. But, I didn't use different things and I didn't buy used, so I wonder if all the different types of detergents affect the diapers. Also, what type of detergent should I be using? Since I have so many different types, I never know, and it seems like those charts about detergents just tell you different things for different materials. Please help!!!
OH, I am using All free and clear with double rinse, sometimes with borax soak.

more than likely i bet its your inserts that stink and not your actual diapers is that the case? Thats my problem i had to use bleach and i boiled them and right now the stink is gone keeping my fingers crossed im also switching the detergent i was using tide free and clear and i was told free and clear type detergents aren't good cause they cause build up. im switching to charlies soap ive heard good things so hopeing it will help keep the stinkys gone

I hear great things about RLR. I want to try some but can't find it in the store... I'm thinking of selling it in my store just so I can find it! LOL

Mine used to stink something awful, but I've been washing them on the extra hot cycle in my washer and that seems to take care of the problem.
