Help! Fuzzibunz repelling.

Back story: I was using RNG (Rockin' Green) but I ran out so while I was waiting [forever] for my order to arrive, I had to use All Free & Clear on my FuzziBunz. I get my RNG, wash my diapers, and they start repelling HORRIBLY. I emailed the company, and they walked me through stripping them.

I have washed those darn diapers over 13 times and they are still repelling! I even used Dawn dish soap...and they STILL repel.

I am at the brink of tears, I am so frustrated.

Also, I just received a brand new order of Ka'Waii diapers...I washed them in RNG and now THEY are repelling!

Seriously, I think RNG ruined my diapers. I am so mad.

Anyway. Please, any help to get this to stop would really help me out here! Thanks.

hey mama, what are you doing to test for repelling? are you having leaks still? you can really only test for repelling by having baby wear the diaper and test for leaks.

I'm wondering the same thing that PP asked. We use FBs exclusively and whenever we need to strip, I just use RnG and it works. Do you have really hard water? We used to, and it took a little bit more work to get them completely clean. Mostly I had to do LOTS of cold rinses after rockin' a soak. Also.. and you should NEVER do this frequently.. but if you have tried everything and they TRULY are still repelling, you could try adding a LITTLE BIT of bleach to your diapers in the wash. If you use bleach too often it will destroy the PUL. But using a LITTLE BIT once in a blue moon will be alright.

It doesn't matter what detergent I use - I have to wash my pockets again on the sanitize cycle to stop the repelling.
