Re: What the craziest packaging you have fluff come in?

I reuse mailers. Recently I received a diaper in a reused poly mailer, but it was taped up with ordinary office tape - the really skinny, not-so-sticky kind (as opposed to packaging tape). I am surprised it didn't come undone in transport.

Re: What the craziest packaging you've had fluff come in?

I do get some great ideas from some of the packaging I've received, I'm all for the reuse of what I've got on hand, as long as it will make it to the mama. I have used a manila envelope, but I reinforced it with clear packing tape. The things the post office must see...

Re: What the craziest packaging you've had fluff come in?

I will freely admit it -- we use sposies for overnight, and I use the packaging for mailing diapers. The plastic is nice and sturdy, but a lot lighter than a cardboard box. Just tape it up well, and it works great. Why should I pay for envelopes or mailers when I already have something on hand?

I don't think I've ever recieved a dipe in weird packing, but I've been known to use an oatmeal or cereal box when I'm out of polymailers!

I think you girls are all mailing to each other

I haven't received any funky packaging. I usually mail out in polymailers that I bought or recycled ones. I never though to use boxes though!

I will also start using cereal boxes!!!!

I have received diapers on Huggies boxes and manila envelopes

I like to wrap my package in saran paper -really tight together- and then wrap it in used paper grocery bags... works!!! and light!!!

I mailed something in a sposie wipe bag (the zip close ones that come in the bigger boxes of sposie wipes - which we still use )...it was like an easy polymailer - I taped it to be sure.
