We'll officially be residents as of october 5th! Can you tell me a little more about the area from a mommy's perspective - places to eat, play, go on dates, shop etc?

I'm so glad you guys found a place! I don't live in Pearland so I can't help you there. On Meetup . com there is a homesteading group and Peaceful Beginnings is a parenting group, some of the mom's are in your area of town I believe.

We do use Pearland Pediatrics even though we live 35 mins away. They were the best doctors on our insurance.

We currently live in Katy, but will be moving to Manvel in December! I don't have any good suggestions yet. I only know that the friends I have that live over there rave about Center Court Pizza (although I'm not sure how it is for kids.)
