Re: Informal milk donation

I wish you were closer. I have almost 100 bags in my deep freezer I can't use cause my daughter has a dairy, egg and peanut allergy so I have had to change my diet and can't use those in my freezer. I have no idea what it would cost to ship it.

Oh, Abaigael, I have shipped from WI before! It's not very expensive at all. I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter's allergies - that must be stressful for you. Shipping in the states is fairly easy because there are a lot of companies that sell shipping kits (cooler, box, dry ice packs) that can be sent directly to you, and then all you have to do is wet the ice packs, freeze them overnight, fill the cooler and call for a pick-up. I always pay for the supplies, shipping and storage bags. I have a shipping address in Champlain, NY which is very close to my house. Let me know if we could work something out! I'd really like to get her to a year on breast milk and it's looking more and more like a possibility every day!

Thank you all for the encouragement! <3
