I'm in Garland also. I saw cloth at Kid-to-Kid today. They were Bumkins covers and flannel prefolds that they were calling inserts--brand new. Anyway, it surprised me to see them there.

Wow I go to resale shops all the time and never see cloth diapers. It would be my dream to walk in and find a bunch of GM's

I live just north of McKinney, in Van Alstyne.

We are a Jesus-loving family with 5 living children and one we lost in pregnancy in 3/07. I stay at home and I homeschool. I have CD'd my kids off an on throughout the years. I was in an "on" phase until last week. LOL! Now I'm selling it all off. Go figure! Sometimes the laundry beast wins...

I'm in Plano. I'm a SAHM of 3 boys ages 5 1/2, 3 1/2 and 8 months. I've only CD'd the baby. He's highly allergic to disposables and cloth was the only other option. I am disappointed I never thought to CD my older two. I absolutely love it! I am always on the lookout for great diapers. So far bGs are what work best for him...the 3.0s, not the 4.0s. Looking for a great nighttime diaper though.

Sorry to butt in as I live in Arlington, but I was reading your post and thought I would throw out a suggestion. Have you tried a fitted with a wool cover??? It is the ONLY thing I can use at night. I use Sloomb and it is AMAZING! It is definitely pricey, but so worth it. My kids leak through anything else and disposables are not an option. Anywho, thought I would throw that out in case you had not tried them before.

Hey all, I am in McKinney also. I am not a mother yet, just am doing tons of research in planning for them. The more I know the better. I am already planning on CDing, trying to find a good mei tai to use on a friend's baby until I have my own, and am considering trying EC (but not sure if I'll be able to be committed enough for it). I'm sure I'll be on here much more once we have kids, but until then, I just like to read and learn on websites like this one. :-) Just wanted to say hello to local ladies!!!
