Anyone use wool with PL?

i'm trying to decide if i want to keep our wool stash. some of it is too small for DD with a diaper on but fits perfectly with training pants. she;s just not ready for trainers.

has anyone used primarily wool while PL? how old was the child, what did they wear under it and were they a heavy wetter?

Re: Anyone use wool with PL?

We use(d) wool and regular shorts with my son with regular underwear, I love his wool so didn't see why we couldn't continue to use it! And I think it's great for PLing since it kind of serves the function of trainers...he can feel that his underwear are went, but it absorbs some so there's less of a mess on everything else (like the carseat on trips).

Re: Anyone use wool with PL?

I used wool when DS first started PL'ing right around the time he turned 2. He wore trainers that I made for him under them. They were somewhat absorbent but not completely. The wool was nice because when he had an accident I could just hang them up to dry rather than having a ton of regular pants to wash. He started PL'ing in the winter so it was to cold for him to just run around in his trainers around the house.
