Re: Spring/Woodlands/Conroe mamas.
I can't knit or crochet, but I can teach you to sew if you want to do that instead.

I crochet, but I don't live up there.
I hope you find some one though.

When I visit family in Spring, I go to the Hen House on Louetta for knitting and crochet supplies. I live in Denton now, so wouldn't be able to teach you, but I'm sure that the staff at the Hen House could point you in the right direction. It's an awesome store. I am new to DiaperSwappers, so don't have enough posts yet to be able to post the link
, but if you do a google search for Hen House, Spring, Texas, it should come up. I really have to control my spending when I go in there because they have yarn and quilt fabric, two of my hobbies in the same store is a recipe for disaster!! Another place to check is the library. I know ours has crochet and knitting groups that give classes and meet weekly at the library. Good luck!! |

Re: Spring/Woodlands/Conroe mamas.
I taught myself to crochet by watching videos on youtube. Specifically, Teresa (youtube.com/tjw1963). She does everything from the very basic how to get started stuff, to showing you how to make her patterns. She is a very good teacher. I taught myself to knit using books from the library, but that was before I discovered youtube.
