WWYD: Sent defective diaper back for exchange...

I had a diaper that had a small problem and I sent it back for repair/exchange over 6 WEEKS ago. I was assured on Oct. 7th that it would be fixed the following week, but here it is nearly the end of October ( I sent it in mid September) and I still don't have it back. I'm getting really irritated because I only have a handful of these because they are our night diapers and I need it back!

Short of sending an irritated email, what do I do to get my diaper back? This is a largeish company and it is ONE diaper...they could have just sent me a new one but insisted on fixing the one I sent in.

Call and threaten to report them to the BBB. Works like a charm when they are being unethical and it gets their attention ASAP in my experience.

call or email...however, keep in mind that last week was the ABC kids expo show and most of the diaper companies were essentially closed for the week while they were at the show.

that might be the case but the op was promised that the dipe would be fixed before the show would have even started.
i would definitely complain loudly about it. (ok i say i would but i sometimes tend to be a little afraid of confrontation...lol). either way, i hate when i am simply told what "i want to hear". seriously, just tell you are really busy and it might take a little longer than you expected. i will have way more respect for you than if you make promises you can't keep.
hope you get your dipe soon mama. and maybe some freebies for the inconvenience and your patience...lol!

Definitely call. I sent some GroVia AIO's to get the elastic replaced and I contacted them at almost 2 1/2 weeks looking for an update. Apparently something happened and it took longer than usual so they sent me a free diaper. That's good CS.

i'd call and call and call until you get your diaper back. that is a long time to wait! i wish you could say what kind of diaper it is so i could avoid it. grovia has the most amazing c.s. ever! i wish i could make a full stash of gv work because they are awesome to deal with.

Definitely complain. I had a problem and was going to be sent a replacement, and nothing arrived. When I inquired, it turned out it had somehow gotten set aside and overlooked. I got the replacement today!

I agree about making contact again. You don't know their side of the story. Just like the PP, there may have been an oversight and they may think it was already taken care of etc. If you get the run around, the make a stink. You may find that they more than make up for it in the end. I hope it all works out for you.
