My bra straps are about 1 inch wide. Do you think this would still work?

Yes, I can sew a small dart in the strap. Some of my tester mamas had 1" straps.

Hey there,

Are you still doing the bra connversions? I will need some bras converted later this next spring. My baby is due in April and I wear a 30J which is unavailable in any nursing bra I've found so far! Also, I live in Ottawa Canada so would be interested in your shipping prices. If things go to plan I'm guessing I would send you approx 5 bras in May, to be altered.

I look forward to hearing from you as I think you may be the answer to my prayers!!!

Cheers,

Tami

Hi Tami,

Yes, I am still doing the conversions. I can PM you about Canadian shipping when I am on the computer later instead of my phone.

I did tanks for one mama. The look is not as ideal with tanks because of the way the spaghetti straps look with the nursing clip, but it is functional. If you want, I could replace the straps with wider elastic or ribbon, but I would have to charge more. If you plan to wear the tank under another shirt, or if it already has wider straps, then it would work fine.

Hey,
I'm glad to hear you're still doing this. Very relieved in fact!
I've heard from one of my fave bra shops that altering bras in such a way can change the way they fit. What has been your experience since you've been doing this? I'm guessing that I may need to purchase some new bras come May, as my cup size will have changed... again!! Would you recommend getting a bra that is a cup size bigger or something, or getting a bra that fits properly, before the adjustment?
I'll look forward to getting a PM from you and finding out more. I'm beginning to think that there are no other options for me so really want to stop worrying about this and have a plan!
Cheers,
Tami
