Re: What are your must haves for the EC baby?

I didn't think about a doll and doll potty. I like that idea, only, I think DS would rather it be an animal ... His current love is for lions. And cows.

an animal would be cute! and you already have those, I'm sure.

Or, I've never seen one in real life, but these look cute. I think they come with a book too, or they can.

Oh, I really like the doll idea - I forgot about that one! My LO's are both really into dolls right now (even my son ) so a doll that "pees" would be neat!

I understand that you dont need anything, other than a toilet maybe (or bush). Just wanted to know what would make things easier. What are your favorite books on the subject?? I ordered the Gross-Loh Diaper Free Baby book. I also read reviews for the other two best sellers on amazon and those seemed good too. Diaper free is no longer available in print (for a reasonable price).

bush! totally!

the Gros-Loh book is my fav. I have that one and the one by Ingrid Bauer. which is good, too, but a harder read - at least for me. The Gros-Loh one is broken up into chapters by age and stage and you can read just a bit at a time. the other one is great, but more in dept maybe? and more about lifestyle rather than HOW TO EC.

You could also look into potty time books. I haven't found any I loved, but I haven't looked much either. just an idea.
