Re: Where to buy a leash/safety harness

we got a doggy one from wally world too! It worked great for the airport when DD and I went to Florida alone. I got strange looks from ppl and some laughs, but I didn't loose my baby - so nahnah to them! I was able to push her stroller and keep a hold of her - it was nice .

HTH!

I looked at Walmart and only found the nylon ones. They were red with Elmo on them. Was I looking in the wrong spot?

Our local Target also has those "backpack" type ones. They were located in the section with the Eddie Bauer head rests, boppy, monitor aisle.

At that age I used a long ring sling. I hitched it up under his arms and pulled it snug, then I held the tail.

It worked pretty well for an improvisation.

I think I saw them at www.onestepahead.com if you strike out at BRU, WM, or Target.

I used to think these things were but now having a 21 month old boy after 2 girls, I need one just to go upstairs.

My DS has the puppy one from Target for $10. He loves it, too. He always likes accessorizing -- sunglasses, hats. The harnesses is just another fun thing to wear in his opinion.

They have harnesses with leashes at walmart. Walmart also has backpacks that are in the shape of an animal with the leash attached to the animals tail (I think). I used one while traveling from Indiana to Arizona (and back) with my son and it was a life saver!
