I have made a few paypal errors and don't want to upset anyone (no one has complained - I just feel bad that I don't get the mama's what they need right away), so...

I have my paypal set up to my bank account and have also added my debit card(visa logo too) to my account. When I go to pay, if I have no paypal balance the information states that an Instant Transfer has made up the difference [it states it has been covered from my bank] -

Question is: Is this funded paypal or credit card paypal. When I had it connected just to my bank - then eChecks were sent. AHH this is so confusing.

I don't know why I just can't get this down! Thanks in advance for all help!

Instant transfer is funded paypal.

mine's tied to my debit card, and it acts as though it's credit so fees apply.

If you have a bank acct tied to the acct AND a CC tied to the acct it will do instant transfers which are funded PP.

It pulls the $$ from the bank acct, but the CC is there for back-up if for some reason the funds didnt clear your bank acct.

If for some reason it doesnt do an instant transfer, if it matters the mama will just deny payment and give you her CC paypal acct and ask you to repay her to that acct.

If you have both a bank account and credit/debit card attached to the PP account, then it will be an instant transfer, which is funded paypal. If you only have a bank account attached, then it will be an e-check, which will also be funded, but you will have to wait 4-5 days for the e-check to clear.

ditto!! the cc is just a back up in case you dont have funds in the bank acct
