So I got in on some of the Kmart sales and had my 22 pounds (yes,22 pounds) of oatmeal delivered today.

Thing is...ODD and I can't tolerate oatmeal in the mushy made way. We can eat it baked into cookies, etc....

I would love some great oatmeal recipes.

These granola bars are to die for! Every time I make them, they are eaten up very quickly! For dried fruit, I only use raisins and cranberries- just make sure you stay to the same proportions (1 1/2 C of dried fruit). These are chewy granola bars- not so crunchy. Mmmmm...Just thinking about them makes me want some..

Did you get the steel cut or the regular? We do steel cut in the crock pot over night sometimes although I like it better cooked quicker because I like it to have a little bite to it.
