latch issues

My ds is 4wks old and for the past week she has been having latch issues. At night feedins she is fine but during the day she geeks out at the breast.. like she seems confused or something and will squeal and squirm for a minute or so before latching on, then she's fine.
I thought maybe it was her reflux because she seems to have silent reflux, and exhibits alot of signs.
I also thought maybe thrush? Her tounge is a little white and my breasts are tender but then again I have no other symptoms and her white tounge could just be a milky tounge ... idk
what do u think it could be? And what other things should I look for?

my DS is 7 weeks old and he has done the same for about 4 weeks or so. but, at that time, we introduced the Nuk and had fed him a few bottles of pumped milk. i just let him relax and go with the flow. he eventually latches on. sometimes though, he acts like has NO idea how to latch on anymore. i dont get it =/ sorry. i'm not helpful. just saying i'm in the same boat as you and maybe its just a phase.

She has been taking a nuk lately... and didn't for the first couple weeks..so that could be why

If the white on her tongue doesn't wipe off, it may be thrush, keep an eye on it.

Reflux is almost always caused by food allergies or sensativities. you might want to look into milk or soy in your diet. It takes about 3 weeks to completely clear our food issues from your milk.

Paci's can mess with a latch, might want to take that away for awhile.
