Red toothbrushing chewable pills

Does anyone know where to find those pills that kids chew up and their teeth turn red so you know where the plaque is? Or what they're called?

Here is a site with them....
http://www.dental-mart.com/plaqdistab.html

Or maybe check the pharmacy. they are called plaque disclosing tablets.

Re: Red toothbrushing chewable pills

I would just let them drink a red slushi. I did that the other day and you could tell I forgot to brush my teeth. Actually most things that are red or blue color candy or drink will turn plaque colors. just my opinion.

Re: Red toothbrushing chewable pills

I was in dental assisting school and we went to preschools and used them to chow the kids how to brush. OYu would be amazed at how many kids dont brush thier teeth or know how to!
We used the pills and we had them given to us by the company that makes them. So, maybe go to a tech school in your area or a dental hygenist or dental assisiting school and let them know that you are a homeschooling mom or something and want to teach your children about plaque and proper dental care or whatever it is your doing. Maybe they will give you some or send you to somewhere that you can buy them for MUCH cheaper.
Really, they arent THAT expensive!lol
