Re: Faint positive at 17 DPO, what do you think?
I am hopping in here just to say don't worry about line darkness.
I freaked out with DD's pregnancy because at this point I had 2 previous losses, and wanted reassurance. I was pos at 13 dpo..actually planned to wait til 14dpo but woke up and tested thinking it was 14 dpo. It was a decent positive. HCG was 115 or 113 I forget. Next morning I tested with same test brand, same box(set of 2) and it was lighter! I freaked out! 15dpo my HCG was 225..so no reason for concern and DD is happy and healthy. I hope the progesterone is doing the trick. It did for my bff. I only used it with last pregnancy but started it late due to it being a surprise pregnancy.

Re: Faint positive at 17 DPO, what do you think?
Thank you for the reassurance, everyone. These were my last two tests, so tomorrow I'm going to run to walmart and get an equate, and then I'm going to leave it alone unless I have some reason to think something is wrong. I really appreciate all the good wishes. Merry Christmas, everyone.

IC's aren't known for going dark.
My sister just got a + HPT and the IC was faint but the FRER was blaring +!!!

Lots of
and sticky bean vibes! Your second test is definitely darker than the first one.

Re: Faint positive at 17 DPO, what do you think?
Today's test:
Couldn't decide which test to buy at walmart, the one that said "compare to FRER" but showed blue lines on the pic, or the one that said "compare to Answer" but showed pink lines. I picked the FRER one, and chose wrong. Oh, well, obviously not an evap. So far, so good. Also, we're having a blizzard today. This is my first winter in Maine. It's freaking nuts, with all the wind. 3' drifts in places, and also mostly-bare patches. It howled so bad all night, my husband and I both had to wear ear-plugs to bed to get some sleep, and our house is very-well insulated. 50mph winds. It's amazing anyone has any shingles left in this area.

Re: Faint positive at 17 DPO, what do you think?
Good luck!!! My last pregnancy was on progesterone suppositories, and they totally kept me from miscarrying. It ended up being a partial molar but that's kind of beside the point. I've been where you are, and hope this is indeed the one for you!
