After stopping bf'ing
how long did it take for AF to return? Or when it did return how old were your Lo's and what was their eating schedule like? If you can remember....
I know everyone is different, but I was just curious....Dh and i are talking about when to have #2 so, AF is a necessity for that

Re: After stopping bf'ing
Not until mine babies were 9-10 months and we had started solids.
But you are right everyone is different, don't be in too big a hurry to have another, just enjoy your baby.

But I'm not sure I want to stop him from getting bm that soon. Due to the meds, I can't be bf'ing during treatment. If we go back before a year the cost of the FET is covered, and we'd only have to pay for the meds. So we will definitely do it before that. We were thinking when ds is 8 mos old to try again. I guess that does seem like a hurry to some

Re: After stopping bf'ing
I've had AF since my post partum ended. He sleeps all night, so I guess that's why.

DS is 14 months old and AF just returned this week. We ebf until 7 months. We basically breast feed on demand when I am home. If he is at daycare he gets breast milk and whole milk. He doesn't sleep throughthe night yet. He nurses 1-3 times a night. It usually depends on teething right now. We co-sleep though so it makes it easier for him to nurse the 5 minutes or so he wants and fall back asleep. Approximately a month ago he started getting 90% table food versus baby food. He rarely will eat baby food and most of the time wants to feed himself. I think that is where the change happened for us.
