Re: Do I have a big enough stash ?

agree with pp, need a lot more to go 3 days, i bought a ton of pfs and thirsties covers really cheap, just for day use and then used the fancier ones for nighttime, its easier to change a fitted/cover aio, pocket at 2 am than it is to change a pf
also have the next size ready!!!!
you dont want to be caught in the middle of sizes and have nothing!

Re: Do I have a big enough stash ?

Thanks ladies I am trying to get more XS FB because I prefer those (I just "like" them so far) lol, but they are hard to find on here, good to know the XS BG probably wont fit a smaller baby, I was thinking they would Since I am just starting CD I didnt want to use the prefolds or anything, they sound/seem confusing and hard lol! or ones with Covers, seems easier just to use the FB or BG or such haha! Thanks for all the help and I guess I get to tell hubby I need to spend more $$$ :P

Re: Do I have a big enough stash ?

I'd have to agree with most people on here. You need some more diapers, somewhere between 36-40 should be good. I would recommend getting some covers and either flats or prefolds to make things more cost effective. Either a small cover (like bummis or thirsties size 1) or a OS cover that can be snapped down pretty small. Flats or prefolds will also dry much faster than AIO or pockets, then if you run short on diapers on wash day, you can use the flats/prefolds and covers while the rest of your stash is still drying.

Don't be scared of prefolds! You don't have to fold them, just trifold them (a rectangle shape) and lay them into the cover. Easy peasy!!

I found the xs and s BGs fit my tiny 6lb'er great so don't shoot down any options until you try them on your LO. That's why trial packages are great :-)
