Need for YYMN Hyena Carts that Ship from Canada?
I have done quite a few testers on here, and am considering opening an HC shop. However since shipping is not fun from Canada, I was wondering if there are mamas out there from Canada who are looking for YYMN etc that ship from Canada, before I go and open a shop. Thanks!
This is a copy of my testers thread:
Hi! I have been knitting on and off since I was a little girl, however more recently have rediscovered my love for it!
I am a licensed Sheepy Time Pants knitter
I am hoping to start doing YYMN customs, and need some people to test for me! I have done about 5 different test slots and am now working on refining my techniques like adjusting to avoid pooling etc.
I use the Sheepy Pants pattern. (http://www.sheepytimeknits.com)
General sizing is:
Newborn Small Medium Large X-Large
Hip 12-14 14-16 16-18 18-20 20-22
Rise 13 14 16 18 20
However, I will customize to your measurements.
There will be a $10 non refundable deposit to hold your spot, with the rest due upon completion. I will have them completed within 2 weeks of receiving wool, sooner if I can!
Full price (including deposit) will be as follows, plus postage from Canada. (About $5-10)
Newborn: $15 $18 $20
Small: $18 $20 $23
Med: $20 $23 $26
Large: $23 $26 $30
X-Large $26 $30 $34
Shortrows and a gusset come in all of them. You can let me know if you want wider/narrow legs, and cuffs options are seed, rolled, a ruffle, ribbed, etc. You can choose whether you want an internal dtrawstring, or ribbed waist with drawstring, with your choice or i-cord, braided, doubled chain or twisted drawstring.
I am also able to knit up to 25 Juliette Skirties, with my pattern I just purchased. I am charging the same price for a skirty as longies of the same size.
NB SM MD LG XL
Waist 10 12 14 16 18
Hip 12 14 16 18 20
Rise 14 16 18 20 22
Price: $20 $23 $26 $30 $34
There is also the option of me getting you wool from the local Wool shop, if you like, for the cost of the wool (about $7 here, for 3.5 oz)
You will generally need 3.5 oz for nb/sm longies, between 5-8oz for med/large sizes. Of course I would send back any wool not used, unless you don't want it.
Below are some examples of my work.
