Why such high post requirements?

I am trying to post a FSOT in the marketplace, but I'm struggling to get to 30 posts. I'm sure there's a rhyme and reason behind it, but I'd be more likely to be an active poster if I could try my hand at a FSOT first. Frustrating!

I think bc it shows you are active and didn't just sign up to sell??
Its really not that had to get to 30. Get active in one of the chats like weight loss or the parenting threads

Yeah it is to make sure you are an active member and sort of establish yourself. Just start looking around and posting. You don't have to do much to get 30

If you comment on 2 posts a day - you'll have your 30 in just over 2wks.

It might seem like a hurdle to get past but truthfully if you posted something on FSOT before that people would be hesitant to buy it anyway.

Back when I had over 100 posts AND about 20FB I was doing a trade w/someone and she insisted that my item be shipped and receive b/f she shipped out her item b/c I was "too new" and most of my FB was from buying and not selling.
