Mine was $150, but she was a student doula. Most are around $800 here. She was totally worth it.

Have you used one here? I finally flat out told DH I want to hire a doula this time (last time, his line was what could she do that I can't! LOL! I ended up deferring to him, but regret it!)

Would love recommendations if you have any that come out here to Framingham!

I'm paying mine $700, this includes 2 prenatal visits, a birthing tub, and placenta encapsulation. She has what she calls *a big *** sliding scale* of $250-$2000. We decided to pay her as much as we could manage, out of our tax refund. She offers all the services I'm getting even for the bottom end of her sliding scale.
