Paypal dispute question

So I opened a paypal dispute on the woman I posted about earlier today. She is claiming now that her bank account has been overdrawn because I filed the claim. I have no idea how PP disputes work but according to their website they only freeze paypal funds so they cannot be withdrawn or used for another payment.

Does anyone know if this happens with disputes? Do they withdraw money from your bank account before the dispute has even been acknowledged? It has not even been escalated to a claim yet and I only filed it this afternoon.

They probably froze her account and she went to buy something with her funds and they took it from her bank account and she overdrew.

maybe it will motivate her to help you resolve the issue (I haven't read your other post).

They freeze whatever funds are in the account, they wouldn't withdrawl until they've settled the claim
I would let her know what paypal says about filling, and that it's not your fault.

hmm interesting that she wasnt communicating very well and now all the sudden shes contacting you super fast, definatly proves to me at least that you did the right thing by starting a dispute on pp! hopefully this will give her an incentive to make things right with you!
