1 year and still going strong :)
Today my little man is one year old. We've made it this far and he's showing no signs of wanting to stop. He's taken a bottle at daycare since he was 3 months old, but the past couple weeks he's chosen to just do solids at daycare and not take anything from a cup or a bottle and just nurses evenings and all night long (about every 2-3 hours still). I'm tired, but he's efficient and gets what he needs and goes right back to sleep... so we'll keep going.
Over the past year I've also donated 600 ounces to a mama across the country... and I've got a mama lined up to come get the last 150 ounces of unused milk from the freezer ![]() Not sure if this is our last (probalby is) so I'm trying to savor the breastfeeding relationship. My daughter stopped abruptly at 13 months (she was already down to just 1x/day feedings)...but being that Carson is still eating evenings/overnights frequently, I'll be shocked if he's done in the next few months.
