Our anniversary is tomorrow and we want to put the baby to bed, make something easy and watch an episode or 2 of our shows
what do you suggest?

What about brownies? I LOVE warm brownies out of the oven with vanilla ice cream on top. Yum! And they are quite easy to make from scratch!

Re: easy dessert please!

We do a caramel skor dip for fruit that is amazingly yummy!

Whipped Cream
1 pkg cream cheese
brown sugar to taste
skor chocolate bars
caramel ice cream topping
whatever fruit you'd like for dipping

Soften the cream cheese and mix in brown sugar to your taste (we don't put very much, just a couple tbsp). Spread it in the bottom of a serving dish. Drizzle on some caramel. Sprinkle crushed up skor bars ontop and top with whipped cream. Drizzle a bit more caramel and more skor bits

Re: easy dessert please!

trifle

ready made angel food cake, pound cake, or even cookies/brownie
ready made or instant pudding
cool whip
frozen fruit if you want to add it

layer from the bottom up:

cake pieces
pudding
cool whip
fruit
cake pieces
pudding
cool whip
fruit

you don't have to have more than one set of layers, especially if you aren't making a lot. You could even get really romantic and make single servings of this in wine or martini goblets!

Oreo Pudding 'pie'!

Crush Oreos ('fine' with blender/Oster/food processor) and mix with 1/4 cup butter
Smoosh into pan
Mix up either Vanilla pudding or Oreo Pudding and pour into pan
Top with more crushed oreos and cool whip!

Easy! And the kids will enjoy left overs the next day for lunch!

How about a chocolate fondue with strawberries for dipping.

Yes brownies! You can also drizzle them with choc syrup or caramel before baking. I personally like to drizzle vegan marshmallow creme before baking.

I wish I had seen this before I went shopping! Probably better for the grocery bill and the waist line that I didn't
