Re: Homemade Thread

So far I've made the cheez-its and graham cracker recipes and they were both DELISH! My husband is a huge consumer of packaged salty products (lol) so I'm hoping to replace a lot of that with home made options. Anyone have a recipe for saltine crackers? I'm not sure if I can get anything the right consistency...the cheezits were great tasting, just a little too thick/chewy. But I'd be happy with something similar to a saltine, anyway! Thanks for the great thread!

I made this Onion Dip for the Superbowl and it was a huge hit, and super delicious!

thank you! I have a big bag of bagel chips that I bought on a whim at Costco, after sampling them (darn sample lady lol!), but now that they're home-I don't like them I think they'll taste great with this dip!

Re: Homemade Thread

Hot Cocoa or Chocolate milk
I make 6-8 cups at a time then toss it in the fridge.
1/2 c sugar (or less)
1/4c cocoa
dash of salt
1/3 c hot water
mix together well in sauce pan, heat on high until it begins to boil, then stir and let boil for 2 mins. Remove from heat and add
4-6 c milk (less if you like it super chocolatey more if you normally "water" your down)
1tsp. vanilla
Stir well. Return to heat for a little bit or serve right away for chocolate milk. Pour leftovers into old milk jug or something that is shakeable and won't leak, then toss in fridge.
