Wild Child Woolies Soaker fit question?

I just got a Wild Child Woolies M soaker. It has a turtle on it and I just couldn't resist. It gaps at the legs and the waist but I feel like I really have to yank the back to get it up high enough to cover the fitted underneath. Is it too big if it's gapping at the legs and the back of the waist? I'm just concerned about ordering a S and saving the M soaker for later because the rise seems just perfect. It's my first interlock soaker, is it normal to have to really pull on them? DD's 4 months and about 16lbs or so. I'm also considering ordering a pair of shorties and longies from her and was wondering your opinion on sizing. TIA!

Our medium has the same gapping on my DD but we never have had a leak, including for nap time. I think it's ok.

Re: Wild Child Woolies Soaker fit question?

We have two mediums, one is two tone and the other solid. The two tone gapes in the legs a bit, the "cuff" seems a little thinner than the solid. The solid doesn't gape. Neither have ever leaked though

Both do gape at the back a little, depending on what diaper we have underneath. If I went with a large it would be half way up her torso though.

Basically, I'd just go with the rise.

ETA that yes, it is normal to have to really pull them on. They are stretchy and a tight fit helps smooth things out for under clothes.

I wouldn't worry about "saving" the medium, we have used ours for months and they show zero wear.

I have a pair of longies as well, they fit looser than the soaker. I think the shorties would be the same fit as longies.

I would just email her if you are wondering, she is super sweet and helpful!

Mine gaps because if he's wearing a fitted under it it gives him a bigger butt, but we've never had a leak - even at night.
