Losing the pocket-love! Help me with fitteds for heavy wetter

my cd-ing friend is getting me turned on to fitteds & wool. I haven't gotten any yet, but I really want to try some!

DD (25 mos) is an extremely heavy wetter at night. I have tried having her visit the potty (sucessfully) before bedtime and she can still soak through her pockets. I know that there could be some build-up problems on her nighttime pockets, but I am SO tired of stripping! No fun!

So, after reading up here and talking to my friend, it sounds like fitteds and wool might be a better option for us. I like the idea of breathable fabrics on DD especially now during the summer.

So, now, that I've written WAY too much. What fitteds (including doublers) do you love for your heavy wetter?

Re: Losing the pocket-love! Help me with fitteds for heavy wetter

They are not WAHM, but I totally love my OC Under the Nile fitteds. They are super absorbant. At night, I use them with 2 polar babies fleece/hemp doublers and a wool cover. We have never, ever had a leak. Never.

The major downside to UTN is that they take a long time to dry. At least 2 cycles in the dryer. I've tried a few fitteds with sewn in soakers (such as swaddlebees) but they don't even come close to the absorbancy of UTN's. I'm still looking though!

My 3 year old is a haevy wetter at night also. We use Olive Branch Baby's bionic VBSN with wicking fabric and a crocheted wool cover. Crochet is thicker than knit, so it holds better, IME. We don't have any leaks with this combo, and I don't have to add a doubler. HTH.

There are three fitteds that I use for our heavy wetter...not at night...we still use FB w/ a nighttime insert from leobaby...

sunkissed babies (napped for 3 hours and barely felt wet on the outside)
cottonspuds boutique
muttaquin

Getting ready to try a peewell too Should be here sometime next week.

We use Little Beetles hemp originals with a doubler and a Loveybums Wool Cover (the thicker one). The LB's do take FOREVER to dry but they are well worth the time!

We use Happy Hempy fitted. It's a fitted but, you stuff it with what ever you want. For a cover he wears a snap bummis cover or a Stacinator So Simple cover. Never had a leak. Though I'm trying to find a fleece cover that will fit this as it's getting hot, now that it's summer.

I think I saw a very baby simply nights bionic version on the fsot thread on the pin.

i use happy hempy fitteds on dd with a happy hieny insert and 2 ovals. this is our first night with a stacinator deluxe fleece cover so we'll see how it goes. it is really really bulky (but really really soft!) i'll have to find her a night gown to wear with this because her pajama pants don't fit!
