I took 2,000 mg VIT C this pregnancy from 20 weeks on. I started to boost my immune system, but ended up reading about the amniotic sac strengthen.
With bella i had PROM then labor started.

With this pregnancy when labor started i had a BBW and i was about 5-6 cm. The sac was so strong it didn't break until my body started pushing on its own to push the baby out. I pushed the first time, my water broke and two pushes later he was here!

I am convinced vit. C! I ate oranges and drank OJ with both previous LOs (like 5 a day!) and we don't know when ODD's broke but definitely in active labor (I had severe oligo so there wasn't actually much fluid in it) and with YDD my forebag broke at 10 but with a lip. The hindbag broke while pushing.

Yep. Vit C. I took an emergen C every day because mine were both born around winter time, and i had no clue that it strengthened your bag of waters. With DD1 she was almost born in the caul, it broke while i was busy pushing... and DD2 I got to 10cm with intact waters and then asked them to break them because I was tired of the pressure and wanted to push.
