Insurance Company Revealing Gender???

We received a letter in the mail today from the insurance company for Baby Girl A. it's a pretty standard form that you fill out saying you were not injured in a way that they could sue someone else to pay for it aka work mans comp or car accident.

So I'm 18 weeks pregnant and have not had a gender scan yet how do they know the baby is a girl? Did they do some sort of test on my blood from the sequential screen I wasn't aware of? I mean I read that whole consent form and there was nothing about a gender determination test. Further don't you have to be born to be registered with the insurance company??

Of course I open this letter like ten minutes ago and there isn't customer service until 8 am tomorrow so here I sit totally freaking out! What other tests might they have run that I Don't know about??

Thoughts??

I would bet they don't actually know what you are having and it is just a standard form or a mistake. They don't screen your blood for gender.

But why wouldn't they just say Baby A, why did they specifty Baby Girl A?? There is a trial right now doing gender prediction using maternal blood there was a story on NPR about it not to long ago.

Both my kids ( who I didn't find out the gender until birth with) were refered to both genders from all angles throughout the pregnancies. I still have paperwork with Baby girl for my DS
