Thirsties Covers

Do Thirsties covers need to be prepped in any way? I've heard of them having to go in the dryer first to seal the PUL or something like that. Has anyone had to prep their covers?

Re: Thirsties Covers

I'm a little curious about this too. I hear mamas all the time say that the PUL on things need to be sealed, but when I had sent an email about my pail liner, I was told by the company who made it that sealing in a dryer is a myth, that it doesn't do anything. Personally, I've never noticed a difference, with my covers, or my pail liners. My covers have always been waterproof, and for some reason, my pail liners always leak Hope another mama has an answer, I'll be stalking! lol

It is a myth, the PUL comes already sealed, they do this at the factory when they produce the fabric.
