This is really just me feeling sorry for myself but don't know where else to let out my frustration
DS Is 3 months old today be is currently nursing on my 7th clogged duct with accompanying milk blister :*-(. My ultimate goal is to BF for at least 12 months (that's what I did with my DD) but I feel like my right boob is about to fall off! I've seen my LC 4 times about this matter and she thinks I just have a heavy milk flow and there isn't much I can do to prevent(she's watched him latch ect and he is nursing perfectly), just have to treat them as they come...

Have you looked into lethicin as a supplement? I've known a couple of moms who take it and it has helped with plugged ducts.

I feel your pain. I've had an oversupply issue too and the milk blisters are the worst. I don't know if this is something you might want to try but I used a nipple shield when I had the milk blisters to alleviate some of the pain. Also, they were able to heal much more quickly.

It really was a life saver for me because I was just about done with breastfeeding pain.

Good luck!

Just saying good luck to you - and things may get better as your child becomes a stronger nurser.
