My Mood:
My DD(4 1/2) usually sleeps at least 2-4 hours in our bed every night when she comes in in the morning. It makes me nervous as well because she is a heavy sleeper so at that point I usually move ds(3 mo old) to sleeping on my chest or cradled in my arm and I put myself between them

Re: Co-Sleeping Question

I would prefer not to have the older child in bed. We have specifically told our 6 year old that he cannot climb in bed with us anymore since we are cosleeping with an infant. We set up pillows and a blanket on the floor next to the bed for him. I would definitely have him not sleep next to you or the baby. He should be on the edge of the bed next to your dh or not in bed at all since he will not be able to "know" that you have a baby in bed while sleeping.
