New problem with having a bathroom audience
I have never had any problems with going to the bathroom with my little audience of 2...I don't even bother trying to close the door. But I now have a little complication - my period just came back (finally after 17 months!).
I only had one period between DD and DS and DD was too young to notice when she was 17 months old, but now she's 3.5 and very observant. So my question is what do you tell a 3-4 year old about your menstrual cycle? I suppose it might be possible for me to avoid the subject (I use 12 hour protection and could change it out before she got up and afte she goes to bed), but one day I'll have to explain it. So who has dealt with this and what did you say? DD gets really upset if she gets a "boo boo" that bleeds (the first thing out of her mouth when she falls is "IS IT BLEEDING!", so I'm not sure how she'll feel about me bleeding "down there". Also, I don't like the idea of her seeing me inserting anything there b/c I definitely don't want her thinking it's normal to be putting anything in there.
