Does microfiber lose absorbency over time?

What do you think? My MF inserts are anywhere froma year to 5 months old. Since I'm not sure which are which it's hard to tell.

Re: Does microfiber lose absorbency over time?

I have some that a couple years old and work just as well as new ones... sounds like if yours are not as absorbant, they have build up on them and need to be stripped. Have you tried stripping them?

I use Dawn and really HOT ater in the washing machine. Add Dawn to first cycle and run normally. Run through as many cycles as needed until there are no more suds.
