My Mood:
We don't use it unless its necessary. DS kept getting his leg stuck in the crib once he was wiggling around so we put the bumper pad in so he didn't get hurt.

I used one too, but I wrapped it so that it left the front of the crib open (wrapped the ends around the front posts and tied to the back posts, if you can picture that).
