Re: So happy today!

Holy cow...I called on the way up and found out the girls had gotten their mouth feeding tubes out and had one put in their nose (smaller and less intrusive). They also got put into little sweetpea nightgowns as they are now going to get there isolettes turned down and see if they can regulate their body temperatures. When I arrived A was swaddled and ready to be held. I got to hold her last night and both this morning (at different times). It was so great to get to hold them in my arms and stare and stare at them. Kangaroo-ing is super...but you can't really see them well, you know. I decided they have their Aunt J's hairline, Daddy's head shape and bottom lip, and my face shape....I think . I talked to the Doc this morning and we may get to start "breastfeeding activities" next week!
