I always recommend Malden Mills poly-fleeces. These fabrics are specifically intended to breathe and yet repel moisture. Stuffed with Hemp they are an awesome diaper! No orders, no leaks! (Yes, fluffy, but I like that.)
M.M. has even created a breathable exercise fabric that stays dry on the inside while wicking moisture (urine when used in a diaper) away from the skin. Made in U.S.A. and sometimes from recycled plastics! http://www.polartec.com/ http://www.maldenmillsstore.com/ Tracy |

Normally in our home we only use natural fibers, but microfleece liners were our friend for a very long time.

Re: is fleece really safe?
People have been using polysester against thier skins and thier childrens skins for way more than 5 years, think back to all those awful 70's suits. Really skin on your body anywhere does absorb what is put on it so it doesn't make a big difference whether it's the bum or the legs. I am not worried.
