North County/San Diego (Temecula area) doctor help
We will be moving this summer to the Temecula/Murrieta area. I do have a great doctor in Santee (thanks to some moms on here) but he will be too far away especially with gas prices being so high. I am trying to find an "AP, natural, good bed-side manner" doctor. Most of the ones I found before my current one were HORRIBLE! They would tell me my problems were due to depression without even looking at me!
So does anyone know a good Family Practioner? Between myself, DS, & DD we have a huge amount of medical issues where we need a doctor that is not changing every 5 mins. It does get tiring of repeating our medical history over and over again. Thank you!!!! Oh and if any San Diego mama is looking for a good doc (especially one about non-vaxing & BFing), Dr Donald Adema in Santee is an AWESOME doc!

Re: North County/San Diego (Temecula area) doctor help
I don't know of any family doctors but I know of two great pediatricians. The most "natural" minded one would be Dr. Becker. His wife is a nurse and LC and works there. He also prescribes stuff like garlic drops for ear infections (no abx). I have heard some people find him a bit awkward, but I haven't met him as I couldn't go to him because he didn't take my kids' insurance. So, I take them to Dr. Grant. She is awesome! Very pro BF and although she is more mainstream for Dr. Becker, if you tell her you don't want to do abx and want to do garlic drops she has no problem with it. Actually, from what I hear, she used to work for Dr. Becker. She has a great personality and is very attentive to the kids. I also like that she is part of the Children's Primary Care group so she is associated with Children's Hospital.
I'm sorry I don't know of any family doctors. Unfortunately this area is extremely lacking in doctors, in general. So finding good ones (of any type) can be tricky. Maybe if you called Dr. Becker's office and asked they might know of a good GP or FP.
