My trooper with her broken ankle

My middle DD broke her right ankle last Friday jumping on our 3 week old trampoline.
she broke the fibula on one side and tibula on the other. she's having surgery this Friday to have it fixed.
She's so bored since she can't go to school this week and had to stay off her feet and keep the leg elevated.

aw, she's cute! I remember when i was about her age and ahd the chicken pox and had to stay home I was bored out of my mind! My grandma came over and brought me a bunch of stuff, new cards, books, i forget what else, to keep me busy, and that was nice.

I hope her surgery goes well! If she knits, she could probably get a few projects done!

Poor thing, she must be bored out of her mind! I hope the surgery goes well. You can tell her to look on the bright side, it could have happened in the middle of summer and all she'd miss was the good stuff like going to the pool and the beach. Now she gets to miss school instead.

true. although spring break starts Monday,so she'll still miss going to the beach and stuff.
she also gets to go to the 8th grade spring formal in a semi-formal dress,cast and crutches next month. LOL
