Bar Cookie Recipes??
I'd like to make some cookies for DH's lunch more often, and bar cookies are sooo much faster!
Do you have a great one you'd share?? Thanks!

I love seven layer bar...
Coconut, choco chips, butter scotch chips, white choco chips.. Almonds, walnuts, graham cracker crust... Held together by condensed milk. Super sweet oh so good |

I must say these are the absolute BOMB!! Easy too! You may have had them before...
Magic Cookie Bars Servings: Makes 2 to 3 dozen bars Serving Size: 1/36 of a recipe Nutrition: See Below Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 25 minutes Total Time: 35 minutes Ingredients 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted 1 (14-ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk) 2 cups (12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut 1 cup chopped nuts Instructions Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for glass dish). In small bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and butter; mix well. Press crumb mixture firmly on bottom of 13X9-inch baking pan. Pour EAGLE BRAND® evenly over crumb mixture. Layer evenly with remaining ingredients; press down firmly with fork. Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Cut into bars or diamonds. Store leftovers covered at room temperature.

Indoor S’mores
8 cups Golden Grahams cereal 5 cups miniature marshmallows 1 ½ cups milk chocolate chips ¼ cup light corn syrup 5 tablespoons butter or margarine 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup miniature marshmallows (if desired) Butter rectangular pan, 13X9X2 inches. Measure cereal into large bowl. Heat 5 cups marshmallows, the chocolate chips, corn syrup and butter in 3-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, until melted. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal in bowl; quickly toss until evenly coated. Stir in 1 cup marshmallows. Press Mixture in pan, using buttered back of spoon. Let stand uncovered for at least 1 hour, or refrigerate for a firmer bar. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 6 rows. Store loosely covered at room temperature. School Lunch Peanut Butter Bars 1 cube butter 1 c. sugar 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. peanut butter 2 eggs 1 tsp. soda ½ tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 2 c. oats Cream the first 5 ingredients together. Add remaining ingredients. Spread on greased cookie sheet with your hands. Bake at 325° for 15 minutes. Do not overbake. Batter is thick. Frost with chocolate frosting while warm and cut 3X12. |
